Brent Simmons NetNewsWire Pro (Beta) now supports active blogging. I managed to configure it properly (System: Other. API: Blogger. RPC-URL: www.antville.org:5056 . Blog ID: ho (well, that's because my weblog is ho.antville org). Unfortunately there's an error, even though creating a story works:

It seems as if NetNewsWire tries to gather the recent posts when posting a new story, but Im still not sure if this is a problem related to NetNewsWire or Antville?

I just entered a picture named "blabla". But it didn't appear, after I placed the code in the story. I uploaded it again without "" at the beginning and it worked fine.

On different occasions I had the chance to observe people using antville for the first time. Stimulated by this, I drafted an alternative version of the creating/editing-a-story-form.

First it should be easier for novice users and second more efficient for expert users. Here is the screenshot, what’s your opinion?

i just updated antville (both cvs-version and the one that's installed here):

• fixed the troubles with the linkedpath-macro as reported by JohnWalsh
• fixed a problem with the image-macro that was reported by kantel. plus image-popups should now also be useable for those who have javascript disabled by linking to the fullsize-image.

thanks for the reports and please keep reporting any other bugs. since antville.org now runs fine with the latest cvs-version of antville for several days i plan to create the 1.0FC-distribution tomorrow. keep your fingers crossed (kris, did you have time to update the readme?)

JohnWalsh discovered a problem: Apparently, Antville converts all angle brackets that are not part of a tag to < and &rt;, but doesn't recognize all tags correctly, thus destroying valid html code.
