don't know if this is a known bug already: there used to be a link on the username in "Logged in as username". It's gone ...

looks like we found the reason(s) for the troubles we had here at antville.org the last days (thanks, hns!). and many thanks for your patience!

there's a possible problem with the new default skins of the "recently modified"-list: if you modified the main-skin of the list, but not the listitem-skin you'll get invalid html-code which results in a horizonal list for users of internet explorer/Mac (just osx?). to fix this do the following:

1. open the main template of your weblog in the skin-editor and search for the line that says (something like):

<% site.skin name="history" %>

2. replace this macro with:

<% site.history show="5" %>

(where you should change the "5" to the desired count of items in the list).

Did your update get wrong somehow? Or just some sequences? I find every weblog apart of mine. Do I have to live with it by now, or do I have a chance to get back the things? It´s not that I´m impatient ´bout things, but it would make me really sad and blue to be lost... Please get me back my Radinat. Antville tell me about no found on this Server.

thanks to hns antville should now be significantly faster.

update update: something's strange, still diggin ...

well ... i updated www.antville.org to pre-V1 of antville (the update we planned to do back then). now this was much more than a small update because a lot of stuff has changed in the last months (see the <* changelog *>) - too much do describe it here. An because the database in the backend changed significantly (and because there's a lot going on to convert existing database-contents) it's why things tend to be slower than usual. This effect will last for some more time, and it looks like we'll have a bit more downtime tomorrow (=today ;-). Sorry for that, but we have to go through that. And don't forget: we're all working for you: :-)

Anyway: please check if something in your blog doesn't work anymore (but did work before) and report any strange behaviour here.

If you are interested in all the fancy new features of antville please have a look at the <* changelog *> or at the reopened macros.antville.org. I'll post a brief summary after i got some sleep.

known problems: currently we're having a problem with login which means that if you don't use the "remember me"-feature (aka persistent cookies) you will have to login in every new weblog if you want to post a comment/story there. this will be solved asap.

Does anybody have good javascript code for bookmarklets lying around? I'd love to have one for Antville. Ideally it would transfer the current page URL and page selection, but I'm not very versed with these things.

in alt attributes of images should be replaced by something else.
