First of all: Thank you for the excellent work you Antville programmers and designers have done! I feel very much at ease in this place.

Today, I modified the appearance of my weblog, using some pictures I had created. Doing this, it occured to me that it would be nice to have some feature with which one could manage/filter/designate pictures so as to e.g. let the imagepool display only pictures used for "weblog design purposes". Perhaps one could introduce "topics" as with the log entry topics.

Ich hab zu dem Thema noch nichts gefunden, hoffe ich stelle nicht eine schon beantwortete Frage. Und bitte entschuldigt, daß ich immer deutsch schreibe, mein Englisch ist so mies, ich glaub es wäre nicht verständlich.

Ich möchte nur in den topics, bzw. im Idealfall in ausgewählten topics, die Kommentarfunktion nicht anbieten. Ich habe jetzt einen topic angelegt, der eigentlich nur Zusatzinformationen zum Blog anbietet, aber nicht zum diskutieren geeignet ist, zumal die Postings auch nicht auf der main page erscheinen. Kann ich dort die Kommentarfunktionen sperren?

as a reader, it's kind of annoying to have weblogs posted at the top on the antville main page because they have stories posted for future days. this is counter-intuitive, as readers most probably want to know when logs were last updated with stories posted in the past, but not when logs were last updated by adding stories for the future. would it not be possible to add a date restriction to the weblog list? apologies if this has already been discussed, and i missed it, and thanks a lot for all the work you're doing here!

Wie auch Supatüp schon mal bemerkte (find den Case nicht mehr), passiert es ab und zu, daß eine neue Story auf der eigenen Site nicht zu einer Aufnahme der Site in die refreshte antville-Homepage führt. Er hatte sich damit beholfen, bei sich einen Kommentar zu schreiben und bei Erfolg den dann wieder zu löschen. So war es heute bei mir auch. Ich weiß aber nicht, wie man den Fall wieder erzeugen kann. Wollt ich nur mal sagen, daß da wohl noch ein kleiner, diffizieler Bug ist. (Sorry, nicht in English, da hätt ich mich bei diesem Fall zum Obst gemacht)

Is there a way to change how stories appear when the topics are selected? For example, I don't want the text showing up, only the title and poster/date/time -- with a link to go to a page with only that story. I didn't see where I could change that in the skins. Is it possible to do this?

my weblog doesn´t work anymore. it just says "Error in application 'antville': Request timed out." think i did something wrong with the code... :-(
