suppose I want to run multiple blogs on the same page : say, I want to have a main blog and stories/sites that caught my eye on the right side, how do you acheive this ??

hallo leute. Eure startseite eignet sich wunderbar, um andere logs einzusehen und mitzumachen.

doch leider nehmen die privaten zu. kann man die nicht weg mobben oder von der startseite verbannen, weil da darf eh keiner dran! nervt.

die versperren auch den platz für andere seiten, die schon unten rausgefallen sind.

vorschlag? unten button drunter - umschalten auf privat log liste. und die privaten von der ersten seite weg!

erweiterung der liste auf 50. weil es werden immer mehr und man fällt schon raus, wenn man nix in den letzten 3h verändert hat...

still some trouble with the linux box. i can't upload images. there is a timeout for the url "images/create" after sending the form. it looks like the newImg.saveImg(param.rawimage) at line 44 of the object functions gets stuck. at least this is how it occurs to me after experimenting with comments in the code. what can i do to get a more detailed error report?

i just installed helma and antville on a linux box. it's essentially the same setup as on my mac (os x), but i can't get images working. the antville main page as well as new weblogs have none of the default images. apparently, the image macros are not rendered because there is no img-tag in the source code. the image path looks okay and images can be be accessed in the browser.

same error occurs for every image. what does it mean? thanks in advance.

i installed the helma rss application at hopdev and configured it so that everyone who is a registered and logged in user at antville can directly post rss stories to rss.antville.org.

you can try it out by going to hopdev, registering as user there (which is still necessary and annoying, but hapiness is just around the corner) and choosing one of the channels.

the list with items probably is familiar to those who already know radio userland. when you click the "post" button, a summary of the corresponding story will be transferred to rss.antville.org (be sure to be really logged in at antville).

you also can subscribe channels (check the marks of a check box and click "update") and you also should be able to post new ones (which will be available for everyone then).
