no comments in the latest antville code previews in the story list will look kind of ugly (closing bracket is missing after "online" info) for stories having the "allow comments" checkbox unchecked (see screenshot):

Just a suggestion Before reporting bug reports here in the project weblogs, project members should check if they can easily fix problems themselves. For trivial bugs, the cost of communicating it usually outweights the benefit of multiple developers thinking about how to solve it. If, for some reason, the bug is not as trivial as it seems, you might have explained what the real problem is and why you can't fix it yourself or need further input to do so.

Postscriptum Just as an example to show that this is considererd good practice not only in open source projects: The early Windows NT team at Microsoft followed the very same rule: "Anyone owns all the code, so whenever something is busted anyone has a right and a duty to fix it" I truly believe that without this, we're not going anywhere as a development team.

i consider your suggestion as self-evident and a prerequisite, too. i think the past shows that we already got somewhere although "as a development team" might sound a little bit over the top. ... comment
