I checked in a few performance fixes over the weekend. Since everything seems to work and I didn't hear any complaints most of it is now running on antville.org. Have a look at the CVS commits for details.

I left out most of the isXXX() functions (which previously parsed the integer flag and now return the integer flag right away), except where I updated the script files for other reasons. If you're confident these work well, I can update them too. ... comment
