won't go into detail, but the problem is that referrers are stored immediatly in the database and "reads" are accumulated (and are stored in database in bunches of 10). this is a tricky problem because it affects performance alot, but i'm sure we will find a solution.

ah, that's why there are so many "round" numbers in mostread. so the difference between the numbers can be 9 at most? i could live with that.

no, you can have mostread count of 0 and 1000 page referrers. Actually I think we can fix the problem as soon as the need_for_speed branch is running on antville.org, since the page read counter is set to private and our mysql troubles have mostly gone. It's just that javahop does way too much processing right now, so we still have to be careful.
