Skin diffs

I checked in skin diffs support that lets you compare your version of a skin to the original skin.

Here's a screenshot, I couldn't upload it to this site because of the gif upload bug (which is fixed in CVS, too, btw).

The code is in the need_for_speed branch, which is my current working branch. Please help me finish need_for_speed, a lot needs to be done!

You'll need a fresh Helma build to run this, since I just checked in Diff support for Helma.

Re: Skin diffs

wow, this looks really nice (funny thing i was reading the docs of gnu-diff a couple of days ago and then you included it in helma ;-)

ad help: i'm nearly finished with the job i was working on for the last three weeks, so i hope that i'll have much more time for antville (starting with next week).

i can help you, too.

i need to do a few things with my antville installation, which you might be interested in. my goal is to separate antville, the software, from antville.org, the site.

maybe we could coordinate our efforts. i definitely need a new front page for the main site and new buttons or banner. can you pass the job of the banners to your designers and i will come up with a new front page.

Re: Re: Skin diffs

That would be great, kris. I've been thinking about the antville (as application) front page problem a lot lately, and I like your suggestion to have a weblog as frontpage more and more. It makes sense both for personal installation as well as big public installations.

I don't know if we have a designer for antville. The design so far has been magnificently contributed by Claudia, but I can't say whether she currently has the time and inclination to do more work on it.

Re: Re: Skin diffs

yep, +1 for weblog as frontpage, and thanks for your offer, kris! reg. claudia: i could imagine that claudia has other things to think of now ;-) but i'll send her a mail.

@hns, reg. need_for_speed: i began today with reworking the message/security-stuff, should be finished within the next two days.
