i just installed helma and antville on a linux box. it's essentially the same setup as on my mac (os x), but i can't get images working. the antville main page as well as new weblogs have none of the default images. apparently, the image macros are not rendered because there is no img-tag in the source code. the image path looks okay and images can be be accessed in the browser.

same error occurs for every image. what does it mean? thanks in advance.

Looks like you inserted the default images more than one time. Have a look at the image table and then do

delete from IMAGE where ID > XXX;

where XXX is the id of the last column in the image table that you want to keep.

just a minor issue, but you also should check the type.properties of pollmgr and / or weblog. did you check out the latest version of antville from cvs, btw?
