antville (antclick) port change hello. i downloaded antclick and it runs fine on port 8080. but i want it on port 80. so i changed the port in the hop.sh to 80 and when i start it then i can't connect to it on port 80 (or 8080, but that is fine). why doesn't the simple port change work?

install more memory! just kidding ;-> have you restarted helma after the port change? have you changes hop.sh and not hop.bat or vice versa? is port 80 occupied by some other webserver?

why won't it run on my pentium 60 with 16mb ram? i actually really tested that. and it doesn't work. however, i found the problem on the other machine. Under a certain port (i think 2000 !?) the root user needs to start the servers. startet helma as root and now it works. thanks anyway

do not run antville as root. it's just not a good idea. rather, install apache and use mod_rewrite to redirect to antclick through AJP1.3. ... comment

ordinary users are not allowed to open ports lower than 1000 on unix systems (and thus linux, mac os x), so you can't run antclick on port 80 here (unless you run as root, which you should not even think about). It's possible that Windows follows similar conventions in its latest incarnations. ... comment
