metaWeblogAPI should we implement userland's metaWeblgoAPI into antville? if so, we need a possibility to define a bunch of xml-rpc handlers as well as a way to make distinctions between the functions behind e.g. blogger.newPost and metaWeblog.newPost: app.properties xmlrpcHandler = blogger, metaWeblog blogger.api function newPost(appkey, blogid, username, password, content, publish) {...} metaweblog.js function newPost(blogid, username, password, struct, publish) {...} any ideas how we could do that, if ever? btw. what about the weblogapi here at antville?

yes, i think it would be a good idea to go with our own weblog api here, because it should be more flexible and i don't think the metaweblog api has become anything like a de facto standard yet. In order to do that, we'd need somebody with time to spare to work out the details, and I don't see that person among us right now...

i second that estimation the weblog api looks much more interesting than metaweblogapi (which is just such a simple derivation of bloggerapi that it has got some strange smell). however, i hope we will see that person soon, be it among us or not (wink, wink!) ... comment
