i'd like to brush up some of the english messages before we publish them as list for contributors... imho, i think some of the sentences don't give the required feedback to you (e.g. "Should the story appear online or not?" is not instructive, "This was definetly no image!" has a typo and sounds a little bit arrogant etc.)

would you mind me doing that? (same for the german translations.)

I thought about brushing up the english messages anyway, but I forgot that we should do that before giving them to others to translate. "This was definitely no image" is a special friend of mine, since I got it when I tried to upload an image in an unsupported format, which non the less was an image.

I guess we should ask for both brushing up of existing language versions and new languages, and see that the translators of new versions get notified of the updated reference version each time it changes.

I think it's a good idea if you go over the existing english and german versions to make them say what they should say, and than hand the english version to a native speaker to smooth it out stylistically.

i'd be happy if you could do that.
