how could one include the contents of the topics page into eg. the frontpage?

i tried <% topicmgr.loopskin name="link" %> from the topicmgr.main skin, but this wont work.

on the other hand: a macro like <% weblog.topics %> would be nice.

We also want to replace the "topics" link in the default page skin with this topics macro (see this RFC for more). It'll be in the Antville code-base soon, and maybe we can back-port it to the version running on antville.org so you can use it sooner.
