this story (sorry, only accessible for admins) was posted offline to the topic "First Timer" but even for admins it is not displayed at all in the topic view.

antville.org silently celebrated its first birthday on 28 june 2002. happy birthday, afterwards!

I just cvs'ed antville and built antclick for my home machine. When I try to get referrers eg 127.0.0.1:8080 I get the following.

grep says ./antville/site/macros.js:564: var dbError = c.getLasterror(); ./antville/site/macros.js:572: var dbError = c.getLasterror();

If I comment out a few lines around dbError check, referrers are returned. getLasterror() doesn't seem to be defined anywhere in antville code. Is it defined somewhere else eg Java or the mysql driver?

shouldn't we avoid using "this" in skin macros by default wherever possible? i think reading a macro like <% story.title %> is much easier to comprehend esp. for beginners than <% this.title %>, isn't it?

is it possible to set different link colors? that you have an area with a class discription for links which ignore the default preference link settings.

Yesterday from around 1500 PST to 2300 PST, I could not connect to antville. I'd get "Maximum Thread count reached." or "Request timed out." I guess server was overloaded?
